Baylor Launches New Baylor2Baylor Health Professions Program
In partnership with Baylor University Undergraduate Admissions, Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences is pleased to announce the launch of the Baylor2Baylor Health Professions Program. Building upon the historic success and prestige of the Baylor2Baylor Medical and Law Programs, this new initiative offers high-achieving students the opportunity to be awarded provisional admission to Baylor’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, or Master of Physician Assistant Studies program upon matriculation to Baylor University.
“The Baylor2Baylor Health Professions Program is a win across the board,” shared Jason Carter, PhD, Dean of Robbins College. “Our graduate health professional programs offer an outstanding educational experience with impressive outcomes, including high job placement rates and national exam scores. To receive provisional acceptance to one of these programs as an incoming freshman is a terrific opportunity. At the same time, Baylor undergraduates thrive in our graduate programs, and this initiative further strengthens that Baylor-to-Baylor pipeline.”
Students chosen to participate in the Baylor2Baylor Health Professions Program selection process will attend Baylor’s Invitation to Excellence on January 22-23, 2027. During the event, they will interview with faculty and staff, engage with program representatives, and experience the University’s new, state-of-the-art Clinical Simulation and Skills Facility. Following Invitation to Excellence, six students will be selected for provisional admission status within their designated graduate professional program. In recognition of their selection, these students will receive an undergraduate scholarship of $5,000 per year for four years ($20,000 total, distributed across eight semesters), in addition to the Invitation to Excellence scholarship.
Interested applicants must submit the Baylor Application for Admission by November 1, 2026, and the Scholarship Events Application by November 12, 2026.
