A traveling companion with us
"We do not have to climb a mountain top to find God. God our creator, came down to reach out to us—Jesus paid the ultimate acceptable sacrifice." —Dr. Ferreira
"No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” — 1 Corinthians 10:13

Our life is a journey with the ultimate destination to be in the presence of the Lord in heaven. There are problems, obstacles, twists and turns along this journey. No matter which direction we turn, there are limitations to our progress. Our human vision is very limited with no relief in sight. Feelings of escapism, self-pity, or entitlement cause us to start looking for a way out. We all lean on something: our resilience, physical strength, wealth, intelligence, achievements, family, and friends. However, these things can disappoint us and let us down. During challenging times, we tend to focus on what we need to do to make it right, channeling our energy on things that distract us from Him.
We do not have to climb a mountain top to find God. God our creator, came down to reach out to us—Jesus paid the ultimate acceptable sacrifice. No one will ever have to endure what he went through for us. Jesus is with us, a traveling companion with us on this journey of life. Invite Him into your life. Lean on Him, let Him bear the weight and help you through this journey. Worship Him as you lean on Him. The future belongs to Him, He is our Living Savior, who keeps doing new things in our life.
Prayer: Jesus, I pray that you help me depend on You amid this mess. As I wait on your timing Lord, help me to see Your perspective and be joyful in the midst of this storm.
