A place where knowledge meets grace
"Thus, let your passion be an act of worship, your research be an act of stewardship, and your instruction be a form of discipleship." — Dr. Koh
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." — Colossians 3:23
In Exercise Physiology, we explore the intricacies of human movement, performance, health, and healing regarding how the body adapts, responds, and strengthens. Even in a field focused on physical progress, we are reminded that true healing and strength begin within the spirit.

As students and faculty in Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences, our work is demanding nowadays. Our work requires accuracy, perseverance, and compassion. Whether researching cardiovascular disease, coaching an athlete, or mentoring a student, you do more than just complete tasks. You’re investing in lives, which matters deeply to God.
Colossians 3:23 calls us to work “with all your heart.” This doesn’t mean we should be perfect, but it means the purpose of our actions. Excellence is not about impressing others but glorifying the Lord who designed the bodies and souls we study. It’s about showing up with integrity, even when no one is watching, and serving each other with kindness, even when our schedule is tight.
Every experiment, lab report, and work plan is an opportunity to reflect God’s creativity, discipline, and deep care for humanity. Thus, let your passion be an act of worship, your research be an act of stewardship, and your instruction be a form of discipleship. Our program is a place where knowledge meets grace, and strength is always paired with love.
