Request to Change to the Nutrition Sciences (NUTR) Major
Requesting to change to the Nutrition Sciences (NUTR) Major for Current Baylor Students
Students may only change their major to NUTR and be admitted into the NUTR program during the designated eligibility period. Admission into the program occurs only at the conclusion of a full fall or spring semester, after final grades have posted, through the 5th day of the following term.
Currently, students MAY change to Nutrition Sciences. Please see detailed eligibility period information below:
May 19, 2026 – August 31, 2026
To change to Nutrition, current Baylor students must meet the minimum GPA requirements:
| Food Management | 2.5 GPA |
| Pre-Health Care | 2.5 GPA (Pre-Dietetic ed. Goal must declare PHC) |
| Pre-Dietetics | 3.0 GPA (after 60 hours with departmental approval) |
