Request to Change to Health Science Studies (HSS) Major
Requesting to Change to the Health Science Studies (HSS) Major for Current Baylor Students
Eligibility Period:
Students may only change their major to HSS and be admitted into the HSS program during the designated eligibility period. Admission into the program occurs only at the conclusion of a full fall or spring semester, after final grades have posted, through the 5th day of the following term. Please review Baylor's Undergraduate Academic Calendar for this semester's dates.
Criteria:
To change to HSS, current Baylor students must meet the following criteria:
1. Meet minimum GPA requirements for concentration of choice:
| Pre-Medical/Dental | 3.2 cumulative GPA |
| Pre-Physician Assistant | 3.2 cumulative GPA |
| Pre-Physical Therapy | 3.2 cumulative GPA |
| Pre-Occupational Therapy | 3.2 cumulative GPA |
| Pre-Athletic Training | 3.0 cumulative GPA |
| Health Professions | 3.0 cumulative GPA |
2. Be eligible to register for, or have completed, CHE 1301/1101.
3. Make the request during the designated eligibility period mentioned above.
