Proposal Development and Submission
Please remember to reach out to our Director of Grants and Research Administration, Alexis Davidson (alexis_davidson@baylor.edu) as soon as you begin to think about an upcoming external proposal submission. Alexis is also here to support the life cycle of your externally funded grants along with our Post-Award URA, James Faulk (james_faulk@baylor.edu). OVPR has outlined the requirements for the 10-5-3 deadlines that must be adhered to for all external grant submissions. If you are a subcontract on an award, or are working with any subcontracts, please remember there will be even earlier scheduling requirements.
RESEARCH SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES
Research Leave Applications
Submission Deadline: October 15
2025-2026 semester research leave applications are due October 15. Please click here to download application instructions, click here for the reviewer’s evaluation form, and be sure to check out Baylor’s policy for eligibility criteria. Robbins Research Program Proposals Due
Submission Deadline: December 2
The Robbins College Research Award Program is designed to support faculty who seek to submit external research proposals or external fellowship proposals in the following academic year. Research Awards are available in amounts up to $15,000. Please click here for the application form, and click here for the reviewer’s evaluation form. Proposals are due December 2 for a one-year award that will begin the following June 1. Completed applications should be emailed to Ava_Park@baylor.edu.
Robbins Pedagogical Scholarship Award Program Proposals Due
Submission Deadline: December 2
The Robbins College Pedagogical Scholarship Award Program is designed to support faculty who seek to innovate and enhance their pedagogy and student learning through pedagogical scholarship in the following academic year. Pedagogical Scholarship Awards are available in amounts up to $10,000. View the call for proposals here. Proposals are due December 2 for a one-year award that will begin the following June 1. Dr. Mike and Mrs. Micki Maris Endowed Seed Fund for Student Research Proposals Due
Submission Deadline: December 2
The Dr. Mike and Mrs. Micki Maris Endowed Seed Fund for Student Research program is designed to support a Robbins College graduate student-faculty mentor pair who seek to conduct impactful graduate student-led research in the following academic year.
