Nadine Welch
Associate Dean for Undergraduate and International Studies
Nadine Welch, CCC-SLP, serves as Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies and International Experiences for the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. In this role she collaborates with the dean on college initiatives and strategic planning, providing administrative leadership and support to advising and faculty, curriculum development, academic operations, and institutional assessment and improvements. She also coordinates programs to support student education, retention, recruitment, and study abroad opportunities in the College.
Professor Welch previously served as the the Associate Chair of Residential Academic Programs, Undergraduate Program Director, and Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.She received both her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from Baylor University and is a Certified and Licensed Speech Language Pathologist. Professor Welch specializes in the areas of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Language and Literacy. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field and has extensive training with a variety of augmentative communication vocabulary systems. Professor Welch is a frequent presenter at the local, state, and national levels.
