Maxcey Blaylock
Senior Director of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives

Maxcey Blaylock joined the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences in July 2022 and serves as Senior Director of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives. In her role, Maxcey leads and works alongside the Robbins College Marketing and Communications team to develop and implement strategies that extend the image and impact of Robbins College while also supporting the marketing and communications efforts of the College's various departments and programs. She also works closely with Dean Jason Carter on strategic initiatives that align with the Robbins College mission, goals, and priorities.
Previously, Maxcey served as the Media and Communications Manager for Baylor University's George W. Truett Theological Seminary (2017-2022) and as a Marketing Communications Specialist within Baylor's Division of Marketing and Communications (2014-2017). Prior to coming to Baylor, she served as the Branding and Communications Coordinator for the Scott & White Healthcare Foundation.
Maxcey earned her BA in Professional Writing summa cum laude from Baylor University. She enjoys cooking and baking, traveling, and cheering on the Baylor Bears with her husband, Luke, daughter, Brynlee, and son, Shea.
