Karen Beck

Karen Beck serves as a Senior Academic Advisor for the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. She grew up in Tomball, TX and has called Waco home for 14 years. Ms. Beck earned her undergraduate degree in Speech from University of Texas, a Masters in Speech Communication from University of Houston, and a Masters in Christian Ministry from Baylor’s Truett Seminary. Prior to joining Robbins College in 2021, she worked as a communications professor at the University of Houston and homeschooled her children. Ms. Beck is a mom to three boys (including a Baylor Bear). Her time is spent enjoying life with her family and friends and is an active member at First Baptist Waco.
