Francheska Garcia

Francheska Garcia joined the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences in January 2025. She supports the Robbins College Research Team with pre-award activities, including proposal development and submission. As part of the Robbins College Research Team, she also creates and maintains resources that support faculty across the grant lifecycle, helping translate research requirements and administrative processes into clear, practical guidance. In addition to her pre-award role, she provides project management support for select faculty members conducting federally funded research.

Before joining Baylor, Francheska (Franki) earned her PhD in Quantitative Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and her MS and BA in Psychology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. Before transitioning into research administration, she spent several years conducting research, giving her a different perspective on the research process. As a first-generation college graduate, she also values the role education has played in her own path and the opportunities it can create. Outside of work, Francheska is an enthusiast of new experiences, obscure fun facts, and hobbies she has yet to discover.
