Ashleigh Prothro

Ashleigh Prothro serves as an Academic Advisor in the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. She was raised in the Kansas City area and earned both a B.S. in Special Education and a Master’s in Educational Psychology from Baylor. Prior to joining Robbins College in 2023, she served as a special education teacher in Waco and taught early childhood at the Baylor Piper Center. Mrs. Prothro and her husband, John, are both Baylor bears. They love attending Baylor events- especially Baylor basketball. They also enjoy walking their dog, Blue, around Waco!  She enjoys spending time with family. Some of her interests include:  hiking, running, gardening, kayaking, reading, and traveling.
