Amy Lopez

Amy Lopez serves as Assistant Director of Academic Advising for the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. Amy is proud to be a 5^th generation Wacoan. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Baylor, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education from Tarleton. Prior to joining Robbins College in 2019, Mrs. Lopez worked as an Academic Advisor at the University of Texas at Arlington and served as a Master Licensed Social Worker at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center and Communities in Schools.  She and her husband Arthur have one daughter, Alexis, who hopes to be Baylor Bear one day. They also have 2 dogs and a cat. She enjoys spending time with family and her interests include jogging with her dog, Sadie, researching for her dissertation, and traveling to Florida to visit her Dad and extended family.
