Amanda Holland

Amanda Holland serves as Director of Academic Advising and Enrollment Initiatives for the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. She grew up in Plano, Texas and received a BS in Special Education from Baylor and a Master’s of Education from the University of North Texas. Prior to joining the Robbins College Advising office in 2015, Mrs. Holland served as faculty in the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Baylor as a reading specialist. She spent over 10 years as the Education Specialist and Coordinator at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and served many years as a special education teacher in California and Texas. Her husband, Brad is a local Ear, Nose and Throat physician and serves as adjunct faculty for Robbins College in the CSD clinic. They are proud parents to four college students- Georgie at Baylor Law, Georgia Grace at Belmont University, Hank at Baylor, and Hudson at St. Edward’s University. They also spoil three adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named Annie, Lucy, and Phoebe. In her free time, Ms. Holland enjoys trips to Colorado and the Texas Hill Country, hiking, fly fishing, mahjong, and a good concert!
