About the Event
Preventable medical errors are one of the leading causes of death in the U.S., claiming the lives of over 400,000 patients each year. Do No Harm is an interprofessional patient safety event designed to empower healthcare professionals and students with the knowledge and skills to identify, prevent, and respond to medical errors in a team-based setting.
This interactive event provides participants with hands-on experience in analyzing patient safety hazards, discussing root causes of errors, and practicing effective communication strategies with standardized patients (SPs).
